El Paso Regional Border Conference on Creative Entrepreneurship and Self-Support Opportunities for People with Disabilities
The National PASS Network and VSA arts of Texas along with our partners at Education Service Center Region 19, Volar Independent Living Center, Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) and many other volunteers has put together the El Paso Regional Border Conference on Creative Entrepreneurship. The conference is scheduled for 2 days on May 16 and 17 in El Paso, Texas. The conference will have two days of presentations of national experts on disability and entrepreneurship.
The goal of the El Paso Border Entrepreneur Conference is to showcase skills and opportunities for students and adults with disabilities in self-employment and business creation in the El Paso Border area and beyond. One of the opportunities not often included in rehabilitation plans for people with disabilities is the opportunity for is self-employment. Hopefully we will change the conversation about these opportunities through outreach in this conference.
