On Tuesday, March 24, the National PASS Network joins the American Diabetes Association (ADA) in its annual nationwide effort to educate the American public about the seriousness of diabetes and to encourage people of all ages to get tested for diabetes. One in five Americans is at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Early diagnosis is critical to successful treatment and delaying or preventing some of its disabling conditions including heart disease, blindness, kidney disease, stroke, amputation and death.
